Earthlings is a documentary began in 1999 and released in 2005 about the relationship between humans and animals in the pet industry, agriculture, fashion industry, entertainment industry and medical research. It contains a lot of secretly shot footages.
I've only seen parts of the film. It was hard to watch (even though I have no problems with gory horror movies.) Things were worse than I expected.
It's a very well-made documentary with lots of hard to obtain scenes that are extremely influential. I just want to warn you to be prepared for gut-wrenching, nauseating tragedy if you decide to watch it.
