Mad Cow Disease Madness!

I didn't understand how the Mad Cow Disease (BSE) crisis (which somehow ended up on our poster) had anything to do with the oil spill until I read, and compared, the follwing articles. It is interesting how the two crises have much in common in terms of effects on agriculture and economy.
