A Worker Collapses, Then Rescuers Do

My story I have is "A Worker Collapses, Then Rescuers Do", from the New York Times Newspaper. It is about 3 workers who were died by inhaling toxic air from a well in a waste land.

The event was that the first worker fainted after inhaling the toxic gas coming from the well. The second worker went in trying to save the first worker, but he too fainted after inhaling the gas. Then. a third worker showed up and he suffered a similar result.

This tragedy happened because the chemicals from the waste in the wasteland had contaminated the well. This story caught my attention because it showed an connection between water and waste. It implied an irony about polluting water which symbolizes the essence of life killing three human beings because of other human actions.
